Who We Are
Baptist Campus Ministries (BCM) serves students from The University of Alabama, Shelton State Community College, and Stillman College. We are here to help you love God, love each other, and love campus.

We are not a church, but a student organization that is a ministry of a network of local churches known as the Tuscaloosa County Baptist Association open to all students regardless of faith background. We are on campus to be on mission. We gather here, in a place made up of many churches, for the sake of going out together.

For the Christian student that means we are here to help you deepen your relationship with Christ, to help you discover your gifts, passions and talents, and to show you how to use them for God’s glory and His Kingdom. We are here to connect you to a local church and also to other like-minded students who gather here to serve our campus together.

For the non-Christian student, we want to be a safe place for you to explore who God is and what it means to be a Christian. We want help you understand you are loved, not just by us, but by God. We want to live our lives in such a way that it points you to who Jesus is, and help deconstruct the negative stereotypes that don’t truly represent who Christ is.
